Terms of Service
Effective date: 2026-04-17. Operator: Max Systems LLC, registered in the Republic of Azerbaijan.
1. Definitions
"MAXFI" — the payment processing platform operated by Max Systems LLC at maxfi-api.exezine.az and related properties. "Merchant" — any business or individual who has signed an integration agreement with us. "End Customer" — the natural person paying via Merchant.
2. Service description
MAXFI provides a unified API for accepting card and alternative payments, issuing payouts, performing KYC and AML screening, and reconciling settlements across multiple acquirers. Merchant integrates with MAXFI; MAXFI in turn integrates with the underlying financial infrastructure on Merchant's behalf.
3. Acceptable use
Merchant must not use MAXFI for: payments connected to sanctioned individuals or jurisdictions; gambling without a separately negotiated addendum; adult content; illegal substances; weapons; or any other category prohibited by the card-network rulebooks or the laws of the merchant's incorporation country.
4. Fees & settlement
Per-transaction fees, monthly minimums, chargeback fees and rolling-reserve terms are set out in the order form. Settlement currency, schedule and bank coordinates are configured per Merchant and are visible at any time in the Merchant Portal.
5. Liability & uptime
We target 99.95% uptime measured monthly per our status page. Liability for service interruption is capped per the order form and excludes consequential damages. Force majeure events (acquirer outages, central-bank decisions, network sanctions) are excluded from uptime calculations.
6. Data & PCI
MAXFI is the data controller for compliance/AML data and the data processor for transactional data. Merchant retains ownership of customer-relationship data. PCI DSS scope is shared per the responsibility matrix in /legal/pci.
7. Termination
Either party may terminate with 30 days notice. We may suspend service immediately for AML/sanctions hits or material breach of section 3. Funds in the rolling reserve are returned per the schedule in the order form, less any pending chargebacks.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms with 30 days notice via email and on this page. Continued use of the API after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Disputes are resolved in the commercial courts of Baku, unless the order form specifies arbitration.
10. Contact
